OPERATIONS
To encourage the long-term success of a new farming facility, Agritop operates a three-stage operational plan:
- Project management: key Agritop personnel are selected to supervise and direct the day-to-day running of the new facility. Their roles will vary depending on the type of farm but may include a farm manager and additional sub-managers.
- Training and technology transfer: running alongside the daily farm management tasks, is a farming training program organized by Agritop consultants for our clients’ employees, covering procedural best practice and skills-based training.
- Professional and technical support: this is provided by Agritop on an ongoing basis, with several periodic visits to train employees on farming related matters identified during periodic monitoring of the project’s progress. A summary of each visit is submitted to the farm management, with a suggested list of recommendations.
