Here is a wonderful story from our Practical Agricultural Course graduates. Agritop is proud to witness the tremendous impact of the course on our graduates.

The training offered me a vast and in-depth knowledge of practical vegetable production using irrigation systems. The training was practically centered hence my ability to establish my own vegetable garden after the three-month training program.
I started my own farm as a garden due to a lack of start-up capital. I later got the chance to travel to Israel for a paid internship program organized by Agrostudies in Israel in collaboration with the Ministry of Food and Agriculture and Agritop Limited in Ghana.
Whiles in Israel, I was attached to a Moshav farm where we were into the production of vegetables such as tomato, cucumber, cabbage, and many more. I worked on the farm for 13 months before I returned to Ghana.
I started my own farm on a 2-acre land where I produce vegetables such as tomatoes, carrots, cucumber, and green pepper upon my return to Ghana. My aim is to mechanize a borehole I have drilled through my little savings while still in Israel so that I can produce all year round due to the prolonged dry season in my area.
My dream of becoming a role model to the youth in the area through farming and also establishing model farms that will serve as training centers are still on course. There are a thousand miles ahead, but I have taken a step. I am open to all forms of partnerships, investors, and support schemes in order to expand the farm and achieve the desired dream of creating employment opportunities for the youth through farming.

“My name is Dapaah Francis Nnum from the Krachi Nchumuru district of the Oti region of Ghana. I am a first-degree holder in Agricultural Technology from the University for Development Studies (UDS).
My dream was to become a great farmer and a role model for the youth in my area. My plans had always been to establish model farm centers in my area to train the youth in modern farming techniques and more especially in vegetable farming to feed the domestic and the international markets.
Thankfully, I had the opportunity to participate in a 3-month training course in Practical Agriculture (Greenhouse Technology) for the production of vegetables organized by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture (MOFA) and Agritop Limited in 2018.
